Never. Missed. One. Deadline…
How many writers can say they’ve never missed a deadline?
Hmm… well, I know at least one: Me!
In over 25 years of corporate, business and freelance writing, I have not missed one deadline. Just ask my publisher, my editor, my clients. I’ll be glad to provide references for you! In fact, here’s one from a professional corporate writer with whom I worked:
I was highly impressed with Darla’s ability to digest information, identify important themes, find a hook and produce excellent copy in a timely manner. Her writing is fun and informative. She gets to the point and doesn’t waste words… Maybe best of all she hits her deadlines. She is a pro.
Strategic Communications Specialist, retired
I was born with a pen in my hand (well, that might be an exaggeration but hey, I’m a storyteller). Really, I’ve loved to write since I can remember.
A natural aptitude for writing has provided me with the passion and appreciation for the written word. Words do matter! Whether they convey information for entertainment or are compelling sales copy, every word counts. Every word fits together to tell a story, encourage action or make us think.
Words drive sales. (enough said)
You need a copywriter who knows how to write. Really.

CASE STUDIES: real-life results have superpowers!
Your prospect will want your product or service after reading a compelling case study. It’s like a super-powered testimonial — a before & after — that will highlight your product or service and showcase how you provided a solution to a problem for your customer — individual or business. Check out this case study sample: Get a Better Body with Yoga
The elements of a case study — research, interviewing, compelling storytelling — answers vital questions for your customer and entices them to say “Yes!” to your product or service.
Your company will benefit from a compelling case study!
ARTICLES: Extra! Extra! Read all about it!
Before we had the internet to provide us with the current scoop, newspaper carriers took to the streets calling, “Extra! Extra! Read all about it!”
Earth-shaking articles and news items have always been central to impacting an audience. They are best when timely, informative and relevant.
YOU need an experienced, efficient writer to provide well-written, interesting articles! You deserve the best a professional copywriter has to offer. dmsCOPYWRITING offers over 25 years of article writing! Your readers will find out
about your product, services or featured topic. Check out this article sample about Hydroponic Gardening.
Every journalist knows a great article answers all of the above questions!
BLOG POSTS: Let’s give them something to talk about!
YOUR blog content is important. Remember: words matter! I’ve written compelling blogs for business and personal sites and know the key to grabbing readers and getting hits. It’s called: SEO. Now a staple word in the web writing industry, SEO all about the keywords & phrases and how they help folks find your site.
Haven’t I been saying “words matter”? Well, they do. YOUR words matter. Your blog posts matter. I’ll make sure your blog post will:
- Have a title that grabs your readers
- Includes keywords in title and the opening sentence
- Includes variations (synonyms) of keywords throughout the post
- Be relevant to customers and search engines
- Include geographical information when merited
- Include links to other site pages when merited
- Be interesting to read!
SALES LETTERS: Effective marketing includes a successful sales letter.
NOT any writer can pull your prospects in with a fantastic sales letter. Your product or service might be great, but without effective communication it won’t reach its potential. You need more prospects to fill out that order form, click “yes” to your subscription offer, accept your invitation to outfit their store with the best hiking gear, the newest yoga mats. Whatever product or services you are offering, a great sales letter will result in more sales.
Sales matter. We all know that is the bottom line in any business.
The beauty of a compelling, action-inspiring sales letter is it can be used widely and repeatedly. One letter reaching many. One letter selling much. Check out this Sales Letter sample: Basketball Yoga Blast
